The role will involve CMM and manual inspection, ensuring components meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities First-off, in-process, final, and receipt inspectionCMM inspection including running and maintaining programmesManual inspection of precision componentsCompletion of FAIRs using CMM and manual methodsSupporting NPI and liaising closely with EngineeringRaising and managing non-conformancesAccurate recording of inspection results within MRP systemsSupporting root cause analysis and continuous improvementMaintaining high standards of housekeeping and 5S Quality Inspection & Measuring Tools Confident using manual measuring equipment including: Vernier callipersMicrometers (internal, external, depth)Height gaugesBore gaugesThread gauges (GO/NO-GO) Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection plansExperience inspecting to tight tolerances and quality standards Skills & Experience Background in quality inspection within manufacturing or engineeringExperience with CMM and manual inspection methodsStrong attention to detail and right-first-time mindset
