Duties
* Oversee day‑to‑day operations of a high‑volume automotive workshop
* Allocate work efficiently to a team of skilled technicians and mechanics
* Maximise productivity through effective scheduling and workflow management
* Monitor job times to enhance workshop efficiency and profitability
* Maintain high standards of repair quality and workmanship
* Lead, motivate, and develop workshop staff
* Manage stock control, reduce waste, and control costs effectively
* Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations
* Liaise with office staff to ensure smooth workshop operations
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Workshop Manager or Supervisor within the motor trade
* Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing
* Demonstrable track record of managing and motivating a team effectively
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Proactive attitude with a solutions‑focused approach
* Ability to work flexibly across different shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
