We are seeking a time served Plater to join the team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts using various tools and techniques.
Job Specification:
* Carry out plating operations following work instructions
* Read drawings to ensure that steel is cut to specification
* Accurately assemble and ensure that plating is carried out to spec
* Cut and prepare plates / sections
* Assemble fabrication work to pass to welders for final assembly
* Work with inspections and quality teams
Person Specification:
* Time served plater with experience in oil and gas, marine or renewables industry
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
* Mechanical knowledge for understanding machinery and equipment
This is an on going contract working permanent day shift.
Hours of operation are 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday with overtime
