Responsibilities
* To lead, develop and project manage the implementation of the Trust's approach to the energy and environmental sustainability programme.
* You will be integral to ensuring the Trust's environmental legal compliance, embedding sustainable design and construction in our capital programmes, maintain environmental management systems and promote our sustainability ambitions to the wider organisation.
* You will work closely with clinical teams and proactively embed environmental sustainability and efficiency across the organisation engaging key stakeholders including partners to deliver the Trust's vision to become a leading NHS Trust for environmental sustainability.
Qualifications
* Experienced within the sustainability sector and able to operate at a strategic and operational level to deliver change.
* Expertise in energy management, environmental sustainability and the legislative frameworks required for trust compliance.
* Experience of working at a senior management level and with a range of stakeholders.
* Strong passion for sustainability and excellent interpersonal skills for working with colleagues.
