I am currently working with a professional service-based client, based in Blackburn, who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant within their finance team. Your new role
* Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate accounting records, assisting with payroll processes, and managing data within the SAGE 200 system.
* You will also be involved in preparing financial information for the Financial Controller, handling invoice systems, and liaising with franchisees to resolve queries.
* Additionally, you will help maintain client records, respond to telephone queries, and support the preparation of reports and management information.
* This role offers a diverse range of duties and the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of FCA compliance and internal procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proficiency with Microsoft Packages is essential; Sage experience is desirable.
* You should be highly organised, capable of working independently, and possess strong communication and customer service skills.
* A flexible and enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude.
* Ability to work towards and meet deadlines
