External Description: Senior Operations Support Engineer. Who you'll be working with: The Operations Support Engineering team partners with business leaders to provide an outstanding technical and work environment for all employees. The team handles desktop, AV, and facilities support.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead projects to enhance Liberty IT's office environments, desktop and device hardware/software, and digital communications for various meeting experiences.
2. Facilitate project delivery, ensure team members own and deliver tasks, and communicate progress regularly.
3. Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives within the office environment.
4. Mentor junior team members and partner with employees to maximize business value.
5. Support continuous improvement practices for employee safety and security.
6. Review and contribute to engineering and operations standards.
7. Grow knowledge of IT systems, networks, digital communications, hardware, and office practices.
8. Assess and adopt new solutions using a data-driven approach.
9. Share knowledge through internal tech talks, blogging, and external events.
Technology Support Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and optimize software and hardware during office hours.
2. Manage processes for new hire setups, including device and desk setup.
3. Respond to and resolve support tickets, proactively develop solutions for recurring issues.
4. Manage on-site, hybrid, and remote AV and digital communication tools and technologies.
5. Coordinate office space management, including intra-office moves and capacity management.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of five years' experience in supporting large-scale office environments with hardware, software, and AV technologies.
* Experience delivering software, hardware, and office environment projects.
* Knowledge of agile delivery practices.
* Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and end-user partnership.
* Current industry certifications.
Desired Criteria:
* Participation in knowledge sharing activities.
* Experience building customer-centric solutions balancing technical and user needs.
