As a Lead Development Representative (LDR), you will play a crucial role in identifying new opportunities, optimizing partner-led leads, and accelerating low-value deals. Working closely with our channel ecosystem and inside sales teams, you’ll help drive efficient pipeline creation and improve the win rate across SMB accounts — ensuring we connect the right solution to the right customer, faster.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner Opportunity Optimization: Qualify and accelerate partner led opportunities. Ensure data accuracy and follow up on aged opportunities. Develop and codify best practices and sales workflows for interactions with the pilot countries.
* Conversion and Follow-Up of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs): Close coordination with BDR teams to support the progression of marketing-generated leads, with particular emphasis on low-value opportunities assigned directly to the channel.
* Proactive Opportunity Hunting: Identify and engage new business opportunities through daily outbound outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.). Research accounts to understand their needs, key contacts, and buying triggers. Develop a strong understanding of our product offerings and tailor messaging to address the unique needs of smaller organizations.
* Sales Process & CRM Discipline: Maintain high standards of data management and CRM hygiene, ensuring all opportunity data is updated, complete, and actionable. Maintain accurate records of all calls, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce). Ensure seamless handoff to account managers or inside sales reps with full context.
Qualifications
* Experience: 1–3 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, or inside sales—preferably in a high-tech, SaaS, or B2B environment.
* Sales: Proven success in generating leads and experience cold calling and presenting sales pitches. History of quota over-achievement. Outgoing and confident in inbound/outbound phone sales with a great phone manner.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Tech-Savvy: Comfortable discussing technology topics. Understanding of SMB market dynamics and buying behaviors is a plus.
* CRM Proficiency: Experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM, plus outreach tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
* Goal-Oriented: Analytical mindset and go-getter attitude; self-motivated to achieve personal goals and goals set for the team.
* Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
* Organizational & Productivity Skills: Organized with pipeline management, time management, and prioritization skills.
