Quality Advisor – Fort Augustus / Isle of Skye Region. At Balfour Beatty, we don’t just build infrastructure, we shape the future. We’re looking for a Quality Advisor to join our Power Transmission & Distribution team on one of the most significant energy projects in the Highlands. Based in or around Fort Augustus, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Skye Reinforcement Project, helping to deliver critical upgrades to Scotland’s power network. You’ll work closely with site teams to ensure work is delivered right first time, every time, promoting a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. What you\'ll be doing
Responsibilities
* Support and facilitate Quality Management planning
* Challenging current systems and processes to ensure best practice and continual improvement
* Provide advice and coaching on Quality issues
* Interface with audit function to support locally where required
* Support contracts to ensure they are compliant with Balfour Beatty & contract specific requirements
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of Quality Plans to meet contractual requirements
* Review subcontractor and supplier Quality Management Systems, Quality Plans and ITPs, documentation and records ensuring they meet stated requirements
* Coordinate client inspection visits; review and distribution of inspection reports
* Assist in the management and analysis of Non-Conformances and Corrective Action data
* Attend Kick off meetings and establish how defined Quality requirements will be implemented
* Promote the awareness of quality principles through targeted communication, education, and training

* Support the delivery of the Sustainability 2030 roadmap
* Support the business unit external accreditation process (including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and industry licences) to ensure it can operate in its chosen sector
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
* A working knowledge of the sector in which the role is to operate
* Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and applications
* High level of communication skills both written and orally
* Membership or willing to work towards CQI Practitioner or Member status
* Competent user of modern office computer systems e.g., Microsoft Office

* Has an enquiring and questioning approach to audit work
* Ability to work within a multi-discipline team and alone where needed
* Ability to nurture strong relationships with delivery teams and project managers
* Must have a driving licence
