An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Office Co-ordinator to join our busy Colorectal Team. The role includes general office duties, appointment booking, and working closely with Consultants and their teams to provide excellent administrative support to patients.
The Clinical Office Co-ordinator will provide:
1. A comprehensive administrative service to the clinical office and staff.
2. Organise workload with Consultants and Teams, coordinating with other Clinical Office Co-ordinators for an efficient service.
3. Book appointments and cover when necessary.
4. Act as a point of contact for patients and collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and other specialties.
5. Work with the Patient Pathway Team to manage pathways and ensure clinic/theatre bookings align with the Trust's Access Policy.
6. Exercise initiative and contribute positively to the organisation of work.
7. Fulfil the role of the Clinical Office Administrator when required.
Strong administration skills, an excellent telephone manner, enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility, and attention to detail are essential. Experience with systems like Surrey Safe Care (Cerner), Evolve, and Dictate I.T. is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
