About the Role
This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting teaching staff, leading small groups and contributing to tailored learning activities. As an HLTA, you will help create a structured, engaging and encouraging classroom environment where children can build key skills, develop resilience and enjoy learning. With an immediate start available, this is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to take on greater responsibility and support children’s development in meaningful ways.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead small-group learning sessions and occasionally deliver planned lessons
* Support teachers with classroom activities, resource preparation and assessment
* Build supportive and trusting relationships with pupils
* Promote a calm, consistent and positive learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, leaders and additional support staff
* Encourage independence, emotional wellbeing and academic progress
Requirements
* A minimum of 6 months’ childcare or education experience, ideally supporting children with SEN needs
* A patient, calm and resilient approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying needs
