We are now looking for Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our Commercial function and support the successful delivery cost management and quality across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full commercial management of high-rise and complex construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.
* Take ownership of project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and commercial reporting, ensuring accuracy and strong financial control.
* Procure, negotiate, and manage major subcontract packages, driving best value and robust contractual outcomes.
* Lead change control, variations, claims, and final account negotiations with clients and supply chain partners.
* Provide commercial leadership to site and project teams, supporting delivery strategy and risk mitigation.
* Identify and implement value engineering and cost optimisation opportunities.
* Mentor, coach, and develop Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QSs, supporting succession and capability building.
* Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company commercial governance standards.
* Contribute to pre-construction, procurement strategy, and commercial planning across projects.
Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment, ideally delivering high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
* Strong leadership capability with experience managing teams and complex commercial packages.
* Excellent understanding of construction contracts, commercial risk management, and procurement strategy.
* Confident managing client relationships, negotiations, and senior stakeholder engagement.
* Highly organised, commercially astute, and capable of operating in fast-paced site environments.
