Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse and contributing to the organisation's overall success. Your responsibilities will include:
8. Safely discharging your duties in accordance with relevant legislation and our client's EHS policies
9. Using all provided equipment following safe working practises.
10. Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse and yard, promptly clearing spillages and minimising waste
11. Accurately receiving and checking goods into the warehouse
12. Placing goods correctly into storage bays, ensuring safe storage, lifting, and lowering
13. Assisting in loading vehicles and complying with all legal requirements on vehicle loading
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
14. Previous experience in a warehousing role
15. Enthusiastic and highly driven individual
16. Ability and willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
17. Additional relevant certifications or training
Technologies:
18. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS)
19. Familiarity with inventory control software
