The role
Description
ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit 20x Data Entry Clerks, onsite in either Hamilton or East Kilbride for initial 3 month contracts (starting 29th June 2026) on a rate of £13.84/hour PAYE to £15.59/hour PAYE (based on experience).
Responsibilities:
Extract and interpret handwritten data from job tickets, timesheets and stock listsAccurately input data into the new repairs systemEnsure all entries are complete, consistent, and error-freeManage high volumes of data within tight deadlinesIdentify and flag unclear or missing informationMaintain confidentiality and adhere to company proceduresProvide general clerical and administrative support as requiredEssential Experience:
Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to read and interpret handwritten information accuratelyComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentGood organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloadProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data systemsStrong work ethic and reliabilityTeam player with a flexible and proactive approachDesirable Experience:
Experience with MRI Housing One would be very advantageous (desirable but not essential)
