Position Summary: The Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate and insightful financial information to support effective decision making across the business. They will drive financial operations and support the business partnering of sectors of the business. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts to include profit and loss, balance sheet and variance analysis
Aid in month end close and reporting process
Support the forecasting and budget process
Monitoring of Intercompany and fixed asset reporting
Support compliance activities and reporting including MSS/SAO/STBV/PSA
Assist the finance team in the month-end and year-end process to meet group reporting and delivery requirements.
Complete expenses review and posting
Support cash management and reporting
Support VAT and tax reporting
General ledger activities and journal postings
AP transactional posting analysis and reporting
AR set-ups, transactional posting of sales invoices, analysis and reporting.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Help to identify improvements in working capital.
Balance sheet review and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
Create or improve operational efficiencies by process improvement and automation.
Provide timely and accurate financial information to the organisation including ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Candidate Skills and Qualification: Essential:
AAT Qualified and studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or QBE
Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement tools and techniques
Innovative and proactive approach to problem solving, able to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented.
Technical accounting ability
Business partnering and influencing skills
Able to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
Team worker and ability to work under own initiative.
Strong excel skills
Ability to define and analyse problems effectively interpret data, evaluate options critically and make reasoned decisions/recommendations.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and third parties to ensure the most effective outcomes are delivered.
Self-motivated, dedicated and strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to produce quality work within the required directive and scheduled timelines.
Desirable
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics BC
Experience:
Experience of management accounts preparation
Experience in financial forecasting
Experience providing sound financial guidance to aid decision making
Experience working in a Group setting is desirable but not essential
