Metroline Manchester is a recently formed subsidiary of ComfortDelGro. In March 2024, we were awarded contracts to operate four franchises and join the Bee Network in Greater Manchester by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Metroline was established in 1989, making it the fourth largest bus operator in London, operating about 17 percent of the city’s scheduled bus services. It has been part of the largest private land transport company, ComfortDelGro, since 2000. Across the UK, Metroline employs 6,000 colleagues and carries over one million customers daily. ComfortDelGro operates in 12 countries with a fleet of over 40,000 vehicles and more than 22,000 colleagues.
Job Summary
Pay: £17 per hour (with increased rates for weekends & bank holidays)

We are seeking individuals passionate about providing excellent customer service within the Manchester communities, making journeys to our customers’ favorite places enjoyable. Our drivers pride themselves on ensuring passenger safety by following all rules and protocols at all times.
Responsibilities
* Ensure your bus is kept clean and in a roadworthy condition
* Drive safely in accordance with current road and traffic laws, executing challenging maneuvers when necessary
* Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
* Maintain professionalism while ensuring safe and smooth transportation for diverse passengers
* Collaborate with the team and support functions to exceed performance targets
* Work with management to address malfunctions or suggest improvements

* Possess a full PCV license and up-to-date CPC

Hours of Work
Full-time permanent contract, 38 hours per week, with shift flexibility required to cover early starts, late finishes, and weekends.
