The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, hands‑on Service Manager to spearhead our busy aftersales department in Tonbridge. Managing a premium brand demands exceptional attention to detail; we require a highly visible leader who will immerse themselves in daily operations, support the front‑line team during peak hours, and champion an elite standard of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily workflow of the workshop and service desk to maximize efficiency and maintain premium service standards.
* Team Leadership: Mentor, motivate, and manage a dedicated team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff.
* Brand Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to manufacturer guidelines while resolving customer inquiries with the highest level of professionalism.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor workshop loading, health & safety compliance, and critical department KPIs.
* Financial Accountability: Oversee month‑end administrative procedures to ensure performance and profitability targets are met.
What We Are Looking For
* Proven experience as a Service Manager or Workshop Manager within a main dealership (premium or luxury brand experience is highly desirable).
* A proactive leadership style—someone who leads by example on the workshop floor, not just from behind a desk.
* Familiarity with Pinnacle DMS is strongly preferred.
* Excellent organizational abilities paired with a resilient, solution‑oriented mindset.
* A valid, full UK driving licence.
