Personal Assistant required for a 13-year-old boy who has Autism who enjoys an active lifestyle, riding his scooter, swimming and using the local park facilities. He also enjoys reading and computer games. Living in the Padstow area. This young boy finds it difficult to communicate and engage with people his own age so would benefit from a companion to assist him in these situations so he can access local social groups to develop his confidence and to build relationships with his peers. 4 hours a week are available, working some weekends, school holidays and after school. Hourly rate of pay - £13.45 per hour Own transport is desirable. The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
