Empower the Next Generation: Personal Advisor (Leaving Care)
Location: Cumberland (Various Hubs)
Pay Rate: £20.52 per hour
Contract: Full-time
Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a dedicated Personal Advisor to join our team in Carlisle/Cumberland. This is more than just a casework role; you will be the consistent anchor for care leavers (aged 16-25) as they navigate the leap into independent adulthood.
The Impact You'll Make
As the lead worker for young people over 18, you will co-create Pathway Plans that act as blueprints for their future. Your support will cover:
* Life Essentials: Navigating housing, benefits, and budgeting.
* Future Planning: Guiding them through education, training, and employment.
* Well-being: Providing emotional support and being a voice for those who have sought asylum.
* Advocacy: Ensuring every young person's voice is heard and their aspirations are raised.
