Location: Liverpool

Salary: £25,500 - £26,900 per annum

Additional Earnings: £3,000 - £9,000 per year from sleep‑ins

Hours: 08:00‑22:00, 39 hours per week (long day shifts plus sleep‑ins)

Contract: Full‑time, temporary contract with the opportunity to become permanent

Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence required


About The Role

Our client is looking for full‑time Childrens Residential Support Workers to join their team in Liverpool, working within family‑style residential homes. You will be supporting children and young people with severe learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This is a rewarding role where you will play a vital part in helping young people live happy, fulfilling lives in a safe, loving, and supportive home environment.


No Experience Needed

Experience is not required. Our client provides:

Key Responsibilities

* Create a safe, caring, and supportive home environment
* Act as a positive role model and support everyday living needs
* Take part in fun and engaging activities such as football, gaming, bowling, and more
* Encourage hobbies, interests, and social interaction
* Assist with household tasks to maintain a clean and welcoming home
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people
* Promote independence, confidence, and life skills
* Provide some personal care where required


Requirements

* Full UK Driving Licence
* Caring, flexible, and resilient attitude
* Strong communication skills with a positive and energetic approach
* Willingness to work shifts, including sleep‑ins
* Ability to build supportive and professional relationships with young people
* Makaton or BSL skills are desirable but not essential
