Field Service Technician Day Shifts – Monday to Friday Are you ready to take your technical skills on the road and support a network of customer sites? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. We are looking for a self-motivated and independent Vehicle Engineer / HGV Technician to travel to customer workshops across a designated area, delivering high-quality maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services. Your working day starts when you leave your home. You’ll travel directly from your front door in a fully equipped company Light Commercial Vehicle, with all expenses covered. No two days will be the same. You’ll work on a wide range of specialist vehicles and equipment including: HGVs Ground Support Equipment (GSE) RoRo (Roll-on Roll-off) vehicles Terminal Tractors Tugs and service vehiclles Other bespoke operating platforms Key Responsibilities Emergency breakdown callouts Preventative maintenance and inspections Pre-arranged servicing at customer and rural sites MOT preparation Engine work and diagnostic investigations Rectification of running defects Chassis and fabrication work Hydraulics and pneumatic systems Electrical diagnostics, wiring inspections and repairs Supporting improvements in vehicle performance and safety standards The Future of the Industry The commercial vehicle industry is evolving rapidly.
