KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Scunthorpe
Start Date: After Easter 2026
Contract: Full-time, until Summer
Pay: £95 per day
Reed Education is working with a supportive primary school in Scunthorpe that is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from after the Easter break until the end of the academic year.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting pupils across KS2
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
* Knowledge and experience supporting pupils through SATS preparation
* Good understanding of SEN strategies
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
* A proactive, reliable and confident classroom practitioner
Your Role
* Support teaching and learning across all KS2 year groups
* Deliver small-group interventions in core subjects
* Assist with SATS preparation, including targeted revision support
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
* Work collaboratively with teachers to maintain strong progress and engagement
