We have a rare opportunity for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team in Carrickfergus paying up to £65,000 (FTE, DOE)
* You will join a highly experienced clinical team with 4 other veterinary surgeons to support you
* Our RVN team are highly skilled and experienced and offer fantastic support that allows our veterinary surgeons to offer the highest standards of care
* With such an experienced team we are open to talk to any veterinary surgeon no matter where you are in your career journey
* You will have full clinical freedom
* Full and part time hours can be considered
* With no OOH
* Saturdays are worked on a 1 in 4 basis (9am - 12pm)
* 7 weeks paid holiday!
* As a practice we believe in all our staff reaching their full potential so CPD and certificates is highly encouraged and supported

About us
We are a modern clinic in Carrickfergus built around strong client relationships, continuity of care and practising high quality first opinion medicine & surgery. The practice is owned and run by Kerensa and Steph. We are a team of four vets, three RVNs, two SVNs and four receptionists. As a small team, we work closely together and support one another. We believe in doing our best and having fun.
Our highly experienced nursing team are central to how we operate - we value their skills and use them to the full. We are also well equipped with modern diagnostic facilities, allowing cases to be worked up thoroughly and managed to a high standard in-house with full clinical freedom
About the roleThis role would suit a vet who enjoys general practice and values clear communication with clients and colleagues. Some experience is preferred but support is available for the right new graduate. Some sole charge will be required however, you will always be working alongside capable and engaged nurses.
We can offer full-time or part-time hours with flexibility so what ever you would like your rota have a chat with us and we can see what we can do. This will include 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am - 12pm) but there are no Sundays or OOH.
