Drainage Engineer
Metro Rod, Norwich, Norfolk area. Salary £30,000 – £50,000 DOE including on‑call & overtime + benefits.

What does it entail?
Your communication skills will ensure customers end their experience of the company’s service feeling delighted and willing to recommend you to others.
You MUST be used to working in a similar position within the industry and will therefore understand the requirements and constraints placed upon this role both in terms of Health & Safety, and customers’ expectations. You will also understand the need to maintain an accurate and detailed documentation trail.
Responsibilities
* Carry out a range of services associated with cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of customers’ drains
* Operate High‑Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
* Carry out surveys and CCTV surveying
* Provide an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
* Accurately record work/job details via bespoke internal/client systems and apps
* Communicate effectively with high‑profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
* Be part of an on‑call rota to help service clients 24/7/365 days a year
Qualifications
* High‑pressure water jetting and CCTV surveying qualifications or equivalent experience
* Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge
* Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
* Willing to work some unsociable hours
* Full UK driving licence
* Good level of literacy and numeracy
* Must live in the Norfolk area
