We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to work in an exceptional Early Years setting on a long term basis This role involves delivering high-quality care and early education, contributing to their learning, development and wellbeing. The role is full-time and long-term up until the end of the academic year and also into next academic year, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. The nursery requires someone energetic, nurturing, and imaginative, with a genuine love for working with young children.
If you have a passion for seeing children flourish and thrive, have an abundance of energy and creativity, and the desire to work in an environment where no two days are the same but are all always fun, then this is the role for you!
We are looking for individuals who are warm, patient, and committed to making a positive difference in children's lives during these most formative years. You will be expected to support all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and adapt your approach for children with additional needs.
What you will need to succeed:
It would be preferred to hold a full and relevant DfE-recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above, such as NNEB, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare, Early Years Educator, or equivalent. A current Paediatric First Aid certificate is desirable but not essential. Experience within nursery or pre-school settings is highly valued.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
Full and relevant DfE recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above preferred, such as NNEB, NVQ, or Early Years Educator, is a minimum requirement.
If you are successful with your application, you will be required to complete a DBS Enhanced Application or present a current DBS Certificate that has been registered to the DBS Subscription Update Service.
