An outstanding opportunity has arisen for contract position in our Precision Machining Facility (PMF) team to support the manufacturing of Turbine Blades. We are looking for an Inspector which will be responsible for the inspection of aerospace components to join on a 12-month contract. Please note this role is going to be on a rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoons and nights). In this role, you will be part of a team that focus on the inspection of Turbine Blades, manufacturing processes and associated documentation. We are at the cutting edge of civil aviation, developing the next generation of sustainable travel, whether that be through insertion of enhancements to our current engine offerings, revolutionary technology demonstrator programmes or exploring how we can utilise emerging technologies. As an Inspector you will be: Inspection of parts using appropriate plant, equipment and techniques ranging all programmes within Civil Aerospace. Working to approved process/inspection procedure card specifications and drawings. Checking priorities and owning the commitments for turnaround of jobs. Aiding the team in routine control checks for the area. Continually looking for and highlighting efficiency improvements. Ensuring full compliance with FOD & Segregation policy. Booking non-conformances and conforming parts through the local booking system.
