Our client, a reputable academy based in Cambridge, is seeking a dedicated Level 1B Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and well-being of students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
2. Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities.
3. Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning objectives.
4. Support students with additional needs, ensuring they have equal access to education.
5. Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
6. Carry out administrative tasks related to teaching and learning as required.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
2. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
