Laundry Assistant. Manor Park Care Home
* Hours: Full and Part Time roles available
* Salary: £12.60 per hour
* Start Date: Mid-September (exact date TBC)
* Shift Pattern: To be confirmed. Full flexibility required, including availability for both weekday and weekend shifts.
Opening in mid-September in the heart of Malton, Manor Park Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built care facility dedicated to delivering exceptional residential, nursing, and dementia care. We are now recruiting for dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Assistants to join our opening team and help set the standard for cleanliness, comfort, and care from day one.
As a Laundry Assistant at our home, your role may involve:
* Undertaking any necessary training
* Loading Industrial sized Washers and Dryers
* Operating steamers
* Carry out laundry duties-training will be provided
* Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
* Working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met

*Overtime is paid for working over fulltime hours. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘WAGESTREAM’.
What are we looking for?
Applicants should be strong team-players, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Furthermore, post-holders must be able to demonstrate previous experience of undertaking cleaning and laundry, gained either in work or domestic environments.
