Salary: circa £30,534 – depending on skills and experience + standby payments + business use of company van
Type: Permanent, 37 hours, Full Time
Location: Felixstowe and surrounding areas (must be within 20 mins of travel)

What You Will Be Doing
As a Sewer Technician in Water Recycling Services, you'll help safeguard the environment, public health, and infrastructure. Your tasks include addressing network issues like blockages, odours, flooding, and incidents, while delivering excellent customer service and complying with environmental standards.
You will be part of the standby roster for out-of-hours work, with safety being a top priority.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate high-pressure water jetting units and CCTV equipment to identify sewer issues.
* Investigate and resolve sewerage problems for customers.
* Respond to incidents and perform planned maintenance.
* Record feedback accurately using IT systems.
* Work mostly alone, engaging with internal and external customers daily.
Requirements
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions; hands-on/manual experience is beneficial.
* Basic IT skills.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative.
* Full driving license; a 4.5-tonne license is advantageous (training provided if needed).
* Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights; maximum weight limit of 113 kg due to harness restrictions; relevant health checks required.
