A well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Witney is looking for a practical and reliable Workshop Operative to join their team.
Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of a busy workshop and facility. You'll help keep operations running smoothly by assisting with preparation work, maintaining the workspace, and supporting the team with general tasks across the site.
As a Workshop Operative, your responsibilities will include:
* Keeping the workshop and loading areas clean, organised and safe
* Assisting with packing into export crates and preparing products for shipment
* Carrying out general maintenance and handyman tasks across the facility
* Completing local deliveries and collections when required
* Helping maintain external areas, including the yard and car park
* Supporting workshop preparation of components for manufacture

* A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to help wherever needed
* Experience using hand tools and general workshop equipment
* Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
* Full, clean UK driving licence
