Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or have an existing membership, with a PVG Scheme Record Update, before an employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary, part-time position based at Stewarton Academy, Stewarton, until 18th August 2026. The hours are 17.5 per week, as directed by the Head Teacher. The full-time salary ranges from £40,305 to £50,589 per annum, with part-time pro-rata salary between £20,153 and £25,295.
