£40,000 to £50,000 + Personal and Team Commission
You know that sweet spot in recruitment. Where the business is small enough for your voice to matter but bold enough to play on a much bigger stage. That’s where this role fits in.
They’re a team of less than 20, but with a global presence, a reputation for excellence, and the kind of tech, perks, and performance that wouldn’t be out of place in a 100-person agency.
Now, they’re looking for one more leader to join the ranks.
You’ll be heading up either the shipping or renewables division. Small teams today, with huge room for growth. Your job is to grow them in revenue and in headcount.
You’ll be a billing manager, ideally billing £160k or more yourself. You’ll lead from the front and lift the team with you. This isn’t about micro-management, it’s about channeling energy in the right direction. Coaching good recruiters into great ones, shaping strategy, building momentum and becoming part of the senior leadership team.
You don’t need experience in shipping or renewables. You don’t need to wear a grey suit or have a badge from a big London agency. What you do need is a strong recruitment background, ideally in something technical like engineering. You’ll need the hunger to grow a team, the energy and presence to lead, and the confidence to bill big, backed by a track record that shows you can.
