We are a small friendly family run business operating in the automotive sector. We carry out all aspects of mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles. We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain an organised front office environment and support the overall operations of the business.
Duties
* Greet customers and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Answer and direct incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
* Manage appointment scheduling and maintain calendars for staff members.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all records are up to date.
* Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
* Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks when necessary.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
* Utilise Microsoft Office to create documents and spreadsheets, as required.
Skills
* Previous office or administrative experience is essential.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) .
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
* Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong clerical experience that demonstrates capability in handling office responsibilities.
