You'll be stepping into a role that's part leadership, part sleeves-rolled-up delivery - perfect for someone who thrives on variety and responsibility and is ready for that next step.
The Opportunity
This isn't a clipboard-and-desk type of job. You'll be leading from the front: helping to oversee warehouse operations, managing stock and logistics, and getting stuck in with the team on deliveries, installations, and client setups. You'll also play a key role in shaping the operation as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
1. Helping to lead, training and motivating a warehouse and distribution team.
2. Planning and optimising logistics and delivery schedules.
3. Overseeing inventory levels and ensuring high warehouse standards.
4. Getting hands-on with event kit: from picking to loading to client delivery.
5. Acting as an on-site representative with clients and ensuring service excellence.
6. Ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols.
7. Monitoring performance metrics and suggesting improvements.
8. Liaising with office-based teams to keep everything running smoothly.
What You'll Need
9. Experience in warehouse, distribution or event operations.
10. Supervisory or Team Leader experience with a practical, can-do attitude.
11. A full UK Driving Licence (essential).
12. Strong organisation and communication skills.
13. The ability to prioritise, multitask, and problem-solve under pressure.
14. Flexibility around working hours, including occasional weekends.
Bonus Points For
15. Forklift licence or HGV licence.
16. Knowledge of warehouse systems or scheduling software.
