Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained. The Beeches specialises in palliative and end-of-life care and is accredited by The Gold Standards Framework for end-of-life care.
Duties
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical histories.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans based on patient needs.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
* Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition.
* Support patients and their families around their health management.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the clinical environment.
Requirements
* Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
* Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
* Flexibility to work various shifts as required. We work 7 hour day shifts and 12 hour night shifts.
