Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Building Management Systems (BMS) Engineer to join our team, primarily based in Bristol, with occasional travel to support projects across South West England, Wales, and London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimisation of BMS solutions to ensure energy-efficient and sustainable building operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, configure, and commission BMS systems, with a focus on Schneider Electric EcoStruxure.
* Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of BMS installations to ensure operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality BMS solutions.
* Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
* Conduct site surveys and prepare technical documentation, including system designs and reports.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and project specifications.
* Support contracts across South West England, Wales, and London as required (30% travel).
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a BMS Engineer with expertise in Schneider Electric EcoStruxure systems.
* Strong knowledge of BMS design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance processes.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clients and colleagues.
* Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
* Relevant qualifications in electrical, mechanical, or building services engineering (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent).
* Experience with Niagara and Trend BMS platforms is highly advantageous.
* Familiarity with other BMS systems and integration protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
* Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices in building services.
