IT Service Desk Technician
WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Spanish speaking IT Service Desk Technician to join our team in Liverpool, UK. you will be responsible for accepting, logging and responding to IT support requests from across the AHK group in the UK and globally including in Latin America .
As part of the IT Support Service team be responsible for initial incident triage and troubleshooting before resolving the issue or escalating to the relevant team. A proactive approach to customer service and support is necessary in this role, along with the ability to build trust with stakeholders and meet SLAs.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential
1. Strong experience in a similar role, providing excellent support to stakeholders.
2. Solid relationship management and interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning.
3. Proven ability to support end users across various communication platforms, such as live chat.
4. Experience using tools such as Google Apps and ITSM Software such as Freshservice or ServiceNow.
5. Google G Suite (Gmail, Google Chat, Google Docs) is preferred, but equivalent experience with Office 365 is considered.
6. Windows Desktop/Server Operating Systems.
7. Android Mobile and Apple iOS Operating Systems.
8. 8×8 VOIP Phone Systems or equivalent VOIP Phone Systems.
9. Experience using Mobile Device Management Solutions such as AirWatch or Kandji.
10. Active Directory – User Administration.
11. Knowledge of Citrix, VMWare, or Cisco / Meraki Technologies (advantageous).
12. Windows OS Deployment.
Required Qualifications
13. University degree in IT or a relevant field would be advantageous.
14. ITIL certification is desirable.
Required Languages
15. Spanish – ability to speak and converse in fluent spanish is essential.
