About The Role
Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Network Integration Engineer to be a key part of our Egham team, representing proAV and taking full responsibility for contributing to the successful delivery of projects. You will work with customers, consultants and internal teams to understand their needs, requirements, and expectations. You will produce technical documentation, conduct workshops, and be ultimately responsible for the delivery of Audio Visual Network elements in line with proAV’s other engineering divisions. You will support existing customers, promote future account growth, and assist proAV’s support services team in driving customer adoption and expansion through training and support activities. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Key Responsibilities
* Review and ratify system schemes in terms of networking requirements and architecture.
* Liaise with internal project departments, consultants, clients and contractors to ensure project networking requirements are met.
* Deliver, integrate and maintain systems in terms of their network architecture and design connectivity to meet the needs of the system brief and design.
* Use proven technology while also seeking new and interesting solutions to problems and designs.
* Physically set up elements of systems to prove the concept using hardware and software.
* Conduct off‑site testing and setup, on‑site commissioning and configuration programming of project network requirements, covering both hardware and software interfaces.
* Handle interaction between client network teams to deliver secure and scalable IP‑based AV solutions.
* Follow and review system schematics and network designs—ensuring all details and any alterations are recorded.
* Represent the company with the necessary level of professional conduct and presentation.
* Continue education and development within relevant areas, supported by the business.
Desirable Skills
* Networking principles understanding and experience (TCP/IP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, Multicast, QoS).
* Troubleshooting Network Communication and Issues.
* Video conferencing system design, configuration and deployment (including but not limited to Cisco, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
* IP connectivity, control and distribution (including but not limited to Crestron, Extron, AMX).
* IPTV distribution systems (including but not limited to Exterity, TriplePlay, MediaStar).
* Digital Signage systems (including but not limited to Exterity, TriplePlay, OneLan, Samsung MagicInfo).
Additional Skills
* Excellent technical knowledge of AV, VC and IT equipment from all major brands.
* Up‑to‑date understanding of the AV marketplace, including products and trends.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.
* Ability to understand project schedules and plans.
* Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
Hours of Work
40 hours per week, 9 hours a day, 8.30 am‑5.30 pm, including an hour unpaid break, Monday‑Friday.
