Audiology Clinical Assistant (ACA)
Purpose
To provide a warm, supportive, and professional experience for customers while assisting in the effective delivery of Audiology services. The role ensures smooth clinic operations, contributes to high‑quality patient care, and supports both the Audiology and Optical teams in delivering joined‑up total care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Audiology team.
* Welcome customers and guide them through their Audiology journey.
* Assist with appointment booking.
* Support diary management and appointment triage.
* Conduct basic hearing aid maintenance and minor repairs.
* Manage stock levels to ensure essential supplies are available.
* Collaborate with Audiology and Optical teams to deliver seamless customer care.
Additional Duties (Following Training)
* Triage customer questionnaires.
* Perform otoscopy.
* Conduct hearing screening checks using AudioPad alongside our Optical team.
* Refer customers for wax removal, full assessments, or medical attention as required.
* Work with Audiology and Optical colleagues to deliver integrated clinical care.

Pay: From £12.91 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
