We are currently recruiting Waking Night Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Wheathampstead, a lovely village located between St Albans and Luton. In this role, you will be providing overnight support to six adults aged between 18 and 60, each with their own unique personalities and support needs. This is a part-time waking night position, offering 30 hours per week, following a regular night shift pattern. Shifts will include some weekends. What does a Waking Night Support Worker do? As a waking night support worker, you will remain awake and alert throughout the night to ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of the individuals we support. Responsibilities include: Monitoring and responding to any needs that arise during the night Supporting bedtime and morning routines Carrying out regular checks and light household tasks Maintaining clear and accurate records Being a calm, reassuring presence for those who may be unsettled or require assistance during the night While most nights are peaceful, your presence is essential in ensuring that support is always available when needed.
