Credit Controller
We are a leading recruitment agency representing a client in search of a Credit Controller. This role is essential for managing customer debts and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Annual Salary: £26,000
Location: Hybrid (2 days a week @ home post-probation) - Flexibility to WFH
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours, Mon - Fri
Day to Day of the Role:
* Actively pursue outstanding debts through telephone and written communication
* Resolve account discrepancies, including misallocated cash and incorrect invoice postings
* Accurately allocate payments and post to the in-house system
* Monitor and identify details for unallocated cash payments and reconcile general ledger accounts
* Perform administrative duties, including preparing credit status forms and agency reports
* Take full ownership of customer sales ledger accounts
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate accounting documentation
* Update company databases and maintain accurate status reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proficiency with PCs, particularly Excel and Word
* Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to remain calm and effective
