Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable school supervisor to join our team. This role will require you to work along side the site supervisor and have a hands on approach to bring standards up and maintain the level of cleanliness expected on site, help with covering areas, carrying out regular audits, carry out regular cupboard checks and replenish all cleaning products to enable cleanliness to be maintained. You will also help train new members of staff. Your attention to detail and thoroughness will contribute to creating a safe and pleasant environment for our clients and their pupils.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 15.30-18.00, East Garforth Primary school
Compensation
Rate of pay is £12.84 per hour
Requirements
* A valid enhanced DBS certificate is required for this position, which we can help obtain
* Full Training and PPE will be provided
Duties
* Help train staff in all general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
* Help to train and clean toilet areas and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
* Empty bins and replace liners
* Clean classrooms and sanitize all touch point areas to high standards
* Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and lobbies using machinery provided and train staff on the machinery
* Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
* Restock supplies as needed
Experience
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products is a plus
* Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, scrubber dryers and floor buffers
Skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
