Finance Manager
Belfast (BT12)
Salary c.£37K – £42K DOE
On behalf of our client, McKinty Associates are delighted to invite an experienced Finance Manager to join the busy Finance team within this wholesale business.
Role Overview:
1. Reporting to the Group CFO
2. Leadership of the Accounts Payable and Credit control functions
Key duties will include but are not limited to:
3. Preparation of monthly management accounts for companies within the Group including, journals, control account reconciliations etc.
4. Bank reconciliations.
5. Oversee Credit Control team.
6. Oversee Purchase Ledger Team.
7. Cashflow forecasting.
8. Weekly and monthly Management Reports.
9. Preparation and submission of VAT Returns.
10. Payroll (Weekly and Monthly).
11. Manage and maintain invoicing discounting system.
12. Manage Foreign Currency transactions.
13. Management and submission of applicable HMRC and other statutory returns.
14. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
15. Other ad hoc duties as required.
Eligibility criteria:
16. Qualified Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA)
17. 3+ years’ experience working as part of a busy finance team
18. Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages
19. Good communications Skills (High standard of English / Maths essential)
20. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Word
21. Strong Analytical skills
22. Ability to use own initiative and work to strict deadlines
23. Have a methodical and meticulous work aptitude
