Nanofabrication Engineer – Cambridge We are seeking a talented Nanofabrication Engineer to join a growing high-tech optics and photonics company based in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of advanced optical device development, supporting cutting-edge R&D and production activities. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and optimise nanofabrication processes for optical and photonic components. * Operate and maintain cleanroom equipment (e.g. lithography, etching, deposition, and metrology tools). * Collaborate with scientists and engineers to prototype and scale innovative optical devices. * Troubleshoot process issues and contribute to continuous improvement in yield and performance. * Maintain detailed records, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Requirements: * Degree (or higher) in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Nanotechnology, or a related field. * Hands-on experience in semiconductor or nanofabrication processes within a cleanroom environment. * Familiarity with photonics, MEMS, or advanced optics is desirable. * Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
