Medical Receptionist required on a temporary basis for a busy medical centre.
The ideal person will have experience of working previously within a surgery / practise and be a strong communicator. The rate is £12.29 per hour and offers weekly pay. The role is based in a fast-paced GP surgery and is to start immediately. The right candidate will have used a system called EMIS/Docman/Accurx Triage ideally in previous medical roles.
What will you be doing as a Medical Receptionist?
Answering inbound calls from patients, booking appointments via EMIS
Registering new patients and completing the necessary administrative tasks
Action requests for information to be sent/retrieved for Doctors/Nurses/Health care professionals and process prescriptions in line with policy
Ensure premises are kept clean and tidy in between visits from the cleaning staff
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
Previous medical reception experience and knowledge of EMIS system is essential
Previous experience and knowledge of Docman
Previous Accurx Triage trained
Must have worked in a busy medical practice as a receptionist
Must have a valid DBS ideally on the update service
Able to prioritise workload and multitask as this is a fast-paced role
Be able to support your team, and work with a can-attitude

2 Months cover 25 hours - working pattern. Monday 1.30pm - 6.30pm Tuesday 8am - 1pm Wednesday 8am - 1pm, Thursday 1.30pm - 6.30pm - Friday 1.30pm - 6.30pm
