Associate Director Civil Engineer – Water

Are you an Associate Civil Engineer with extensive experience within Water?
Are you looking to lead and shape a Water team as part of a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy?
At Pick Everard, we are proud to have a vast pipeline of work including Severn Trent Water, Thames Water, HS2, Yorkshire Water, and the Government of Jersey.
With our continuous growth in this area, we are looking to expand our Water engineering team in London by appointing an Associate / Associate Director.
In this role, you will work closely with the Director to ensure the highest standards of design and client service within the discipline, focusing on improving productivity, efficiency, standardisation, and consistency in our deliverables.
You will be responsible for delivering Framework outputs, managing specific projects and coordinating project resources, producing fee proposals, and ensuring commercial delivery.
You will also support the achievement of the discipline business plan targets through developing new and existing business relationships, supporting Directors, and managing teams.

About You
Our ideal Associate / Associate Director Civil Engineer must have:
* A relevant degree with significant skills and design experience in the UK Regulated Water Sector
* A professional qualification (Chartered Engineer registered with the Engineering Council)
* The ability to foster a team environment, ensuring support and confidence for team members in project delivery
* Experience managing complex clients and large teams
* Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
It would be nice for you to have:
* Membership of relevant professional bodies, e.g., ICE, CIWEM, IHT
* An enthusiastic, self-motivated attitude
* Leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
* The ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
* Experience providing QA governance to ensure standards
* Knowledge of work-related liability and risk management
* Commitment to CPD
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
