Overview
Land Surveyor - Talent Pool role at SOCOTEC UK & Ireland. Based in Irvine, you will deliver comprehensive topographical and construction survey projects across Scotland, working with engineering and construction teams to ensure accurate survey operations that support project success and safety.
Responsibilities
* Conduct topographical and construction surveys using advanced equipment (total stations, GPS, levels, laser scanning).
* Process survey data and generate client-specification reports.
* Engage with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
* Supervise and mentor Junior Surveyors and Technicians.
* Collaborate with Utility and Hydrographic Survey teams on multidisciplinary projects.
Qualifications
* Experience in land surveying with knowledge of survey standards and operation of total stations and GPS equipment.
* Understanding of AutoCAD and survey data processing software.
* ProQual Level 3 Certificate in Land Surveying (desirable).
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Experience with survey processing software (desirable; training provided).
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with good problem-solving skills.
Location
Candidates must live within (or be willing to relocate to) a commutable distance of the company’s Irvine office.
