About The Role
Reporting to: Teaching and Learning Lead (Deputy Head)
Start date: September 2025
At Ark Franklin, we believe in the power and value of sports and aim to provide the highest quality PE provision through our curriculum, enrichment offer, and participation in competitive sports.
You will play a key role in our mission to provide every student, regardless of background, with a great education and real choices in life. As a passionate PE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons that promote achievement in PE and inspire a love of sports and exercise beyond the classroom.
This role is for a class teacher dedicated to delivering PE full-time. The job description will be reviewed annually to determine whether the focus remains solely on PE or if a return to general class teaching is needed.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Deliver outstanding teaching and learning to enable pupils to achieve excellent outcomes.
* Assess pupil progress in PE.
* Take a lead role in the school’s participation in competitive sports events.
* Lead after-school coaching sessions.
