Responsibilities
What youre doing:
* Planning and coordinating container movements from Felixstowe and London Gateway
* Managing your own fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficiency and strong service delivery
* Building positive, professional relationships with drivers and keeping communication clear and consistent
* Taking ownership of daily challenges and resolving issues quickly and effectively
* Booking and managing VBS slots accurately to keep operations on track
Qualifications
* Experience in transport planning, ideally within container or haulage operations
* Ability to stay organised and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of port operations and VBS systems
* Familiarity with TOPS (beneficial but not essential)
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
* A proactive, motivated mindset with the confidence to take ownership of your work
* Good attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Working pattern
* Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
* Weekend on-call rota (shared)
