Hays Accountancy & Finance are working with a growing service provider in South Lincolnshire to recruit an Assistant Accountant for a 12-month maternity cover, to start mid-July.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all the day-to-day financial transactions as well as supporting with month-end tasks, including invoicing/payments (payables and receivables), weekly payroll, bank reconciliations, all ledgers, as well as supporting with the production of the monthly management accounts and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Assistant Accountant/Accounts Assistant with recent and proven accounts experience gained in amercial environment. Experience in ledgers, invoicing, payroll and bank reconciliations. Exposure to management accounting and reporting /month-end would be highly beneficial. You will be available to start work within the next 4 weeks and be available for a 12-month contract. You will be living within amutable distance of South Lincolnshire as the role is all office-based. You will have your own transport due to the location of the organisation.
