Job Description
Abcam's Product Data Integration (PDI) team plays a key role in enhancing our customer experience & increasing revenue opportunities. We are able to achieve this with our expert team of scientists and data experts who utilise their skill sets to provide our customers the most comprehensive, accurate & up-to-date Product Information on our Digital platforms.
We are looking for a Scientific Product Data Associate to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support our expanding product offering and digital systems.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Produce & maintain associated kit protocol booklets in line with guidelines and input from wider teams.
* Carry out data updates promptly with high attention to detail.
* Perform data quality checks, including screening potential new data images.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, with experience in Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry, and/or Flow Cytometry. Ability to follow defined processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency is essential.
Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to resolve internal & external product data queries efficiently. Proactive communication with stakeholders on task progress or blockers is expected.
Ability to prioritize and process large amounts of data logically and efficiently, ensuring customers receive accurate and current product information swiftly.
